Noodlin' Around

Today I made a bracelet that says ASHLEY on it!!!

AR, took me to the school she is helping at and this is their librarian.

Well today we made homemade bread (it was so much fun)!!!

Also with the bread we made noodles (also fun)!!!

This is me making the dough for the bread.

Tonight we went duck-pin bowling (I wasn't very good).

In the arcade AR and I tried to play one dance game and it wasn't easy. AR complained she had to work too hard.

Well thanks for looking at the blog this week, I'll be home tomorrow! Ashley, first time blogger!!

Indy 500 & Children's Museum (with a donut pit stop)

This is just a painted train trestle by the Motor Speedway!!

This is the museum where we shopped for souvenirs!

People in Indiana call Indy 500, The Racing Capital of The World, cool!!!

On the bus tour around the race track, we saw the bricks left of the original track.

We stopped for a snack at Indy's favorite donut shop at Long's Bakery (it was the best donut I have ever ate)!!!

Well, the yogurt we made yesterday, it was so good, all of us had some for breakfast!!!! :)

Thanks for viewing,

Ashley & Serae in Broad Ripple

The upside-down house along the White River at the Indy Arts Center was very interesting.

This is one of the waterfalls that Serae and I saw at the Butler Holcomb Gardens.

Having lunch at Noodles & Co. in Broad Ripple was fun because they had these humongous rice krispie treats. This is Serae's grandma and AR's best buddy.

The most fascinating sculpture was this different chair.

This resting area looked like it was made from twigs and icicles.

Do you know what this creative piece is?

Serae and I went to the banks of the White River and saw this beautiful swan.

This is looking up to the bells at the Butler University carillon.

Here we are in front of a lilac bush in the gardens.

My favorite short water fall flows into a pond of Koi.

Here I am early in the day with AR making yogurt for tomorrow's breakfast.

That's it for Tuesday, more to come tomorrow.

This is my Grandma and Grandpa, they drove me to Danville and we meet with Aunt Ruth at Burger King I couldn't wait to see her and go to Indy!!!!!

AR and I drove up to Carmel, Indiana to see some statues, then I got my picture with him!!!!

Today the cop stopped me as I crossed the Monon Trail. Just kidding - this is another statue.

Did you know this is another of my grandpas? I was reading the paper earlier today.

I asked this old lady if I could help carry her groceries. She was sweet, but she said no she could get them. She had a Talbot's bag and a grocery bag from the butcher shop.

My American Girl Doll Julie and I went to AR's favorite yarn shop to buy yarn for a sweater for her. AR will knit the sweater. The picture of me winding the yarn into a ball.

The wind was blowing so hard before the rain started that I got swept into this couple.

Well that's it for today, tune in tomorrow for more!!!!
